quite different from my early model e21 air dam, this is a simple "add on" to the factory lip, installs over existing valence extension, extending it by 1-3/4" providing a very subtle motorsport feel VS an all-out track car look. this air dam is also an easy/inexpensive way to hide/repair damage to the lower valence and maintain a stock-ish appearance.
all air dam/ chin spoilers are bare metal, ready to paint. no mounting holes are drilled. (this may change over time, with customer feedback) come in custom fitted wooden crate for shipping
Finish: all of my metal air dams are about hand made, not stamped, and therefore about 90% "ready to paint" (depending on the level of finish required) most customers are satisfied with a simple "scuff, prime and paint" (or "leave raw and keep it oiled" even) but to achieve a "show quality" paint finish, expect to do some light filler work or at least a high build polyester primer and block sand.
