The original Boranni “turbo” steel wheels were made in Italy in the late 1960s and early 1970s and used by Alpina on some of their early 2002 race cars. These wheels were made as inexpensively as possible, stamped and welded steel. Our LimmerFelgen “Borani” tribute wheels are true to the originals in visual design, but using modern precision manufacturing & lightweight/modular design. Machined in house from forged aluminum, our wheel centers are then assembled with the highest quality hardware and wheel halves available, made by BBS motorsport in Germany.

These wheels will work with most common 13” “big brake” kits, however we have not tested these with every brake option on the aftermarket. (We suggest the tii or turbo calipers/rotors in front and 250mm e21 drums in the rear.)

“set” is four assembled wheels, four billet aluminum center caps and certificate of authenticity.

Wheel sets take approximately 6-8 weeks to build & ship. Expect a follow-up email and/or phone call for exact timing and details.
